What to expect on Game Day

We know that a great game day is one that has all things taken care of when you arrive. The following information is here to help you during game day for directions and other instructions to make your trip to the Grove as amazing as ever.

A game day at Ole Miss is like no other. And, by using Take it to the Grove, you’re taking tailgating to the next level. Please use the information below for a GREAT experience!

 

Common Questions

How do I stay in touch?

We want you to be able to reach us at any point. You can email info@bookatailgate.com at any time to receive help. We will also provide a phone number for customers as well, after purchase.

How will I know where my Tailgate will be located on Game Day?

Game day week expect to receive a map via text sent to phone number listed on booking of approximate tent location. PLEASE make sure to leave a good cell number we can text your location to NOT a landline.

Will Take it to The Grove have a base tent if I were to need assistance?

Take it to the Grove will have our own tent set up for directions, questions and guidance once you arrive or if you were to need any assistance during Game Day

Will there be onsite staff ALL day on Game Day?

Yes, you bet our staff will be onsite and available ALL day on Game Day for your assistance

Can I pull up to The Grove to unload?

Only if you have the appropriate pass.There are designated areas the university allows traffic with a one way flow on game day. You must have a pass distributed by the University for access to enter. Unloading time with this pass on grove loop is limited to a 15 minute window

What time does the Grove open?

Whenever you want the party to start! We setup your gear on Friday nights. Please keep in mind our staff will be onsite begging at 8 am to assist in locating your Tailgate. Also, TV services usually are turned on by 11 am

Can our group Tailgate after the game?

Yes, but please keep in mind the University closes the Grove 3 hours after the conclusion of the game or midnight whichever comes first. At any given time the University reserves the rights after the game to say the Grove is closed.

Can I leave my personal items unattended at my Tailgate?

We ask that you please do not leave personal items in the tailgates unattended. We ask that any food and beverage that you plan to keep is removed from the tailgates prior to this time frame. We have a system in place that allows you to leave your items with us attended please ask one of our team leaders if you need to make arrangements.
